Fishing was what I expected--fast
and furious. 30+ walleye days being the norm. This should last for a couple of weeks, until the fish start to move a little farther out into the Bay. Trolling is the
key to get on these bigger groups of fish. Trolling crankbaits seems to be the
best, with spinners sometimes being a little better. Speeds of 1.2 to 1.8 being
the key to success. Good fishing!

Fishing Report (Green Bay, WI) Week Ending 5/14/16
Fishing has been improving as the
days get longer. Look for windy days for the walleyes to set up on the windy
side of the first break lines and inside elbows where wind will funnel walleyes
and baitfish into areas. This is when jigging and casting crankbaits can out
produce trolling just crankbaits. Best speeds have been 1.4 to 1.8. Good
fishing!

Fishing Report (Green Bay, WI) Week Ending 5/7/16
Fishing has been good to moderate
with crankbaits being the number one lure with some jigging thrown in, but
trolling crankbaits in 4 to 8 feet or off the first break of the shoreline
being the key. Expect a lot of males with an occasional female. Look
for fish within 2 miles of the outlet of rivers and warm water. Good fishing!
